Q. Who is the one surfer that you most modelled your surfing off or admire?
A. George Greenough (admired) can’t surf anything like him.
Q. Most memorable surf in your life?
A. North Point, Cowaramup Bay WA in April 1978 – 4 to 6 foot near perfect.
Q. What boards have you ridden or what style of board (twinny/ 4 fin/ thruster)?
A. Single fin mainly, currently thruster
Q. Where do you see kneeboarding going?
A. Can only go forward
Q. Why did you start kneeboarding?
A. Watched kneelo’s on east cost in 1970, they seemed to have more fun than the stand up guys. Gave it a try and never went back to standing up.
Q. How do you handle the flack from other surfers being a kneelo?
A. Ignore them
Q. What injuries have you received?
A. Minor cuts and a severely damaged ego.
Q. Have you ever thought you were gunna die?
A. Hanson Bay, KI 1969, surf was bigger than my ability.
Q. Has your family or partner been cool with your surfing? Have you separated from a partner because of your surfing?
A. Gave up trying to stop me.

A. A – cant afford viagra

A. Somewhere warm, no crowds, a few mates and perfect 2 metre swell.
Q. What music do you listen to when you want to motivate yourself for a surf?
A. Pink Floyd
Q. Is there a certain smell or sound that reminds you of the surf?
A. Rotting seaweed at Port MacDonnell
Q. Have you ever snaked or dropped in on a stand up and said to yourself “that felt good”? and who was it?
A. Intentionally no, but I dropped in on a North Narabeen (NSW) local, who threatened to belt the shit out of me and I believed him. Still kept surfing but kept an eye out for him.
