Q.        Why did you start kneeboarding?

A.        I was making body boards from broken mals, then saw Crystal Voyager. I found

a Wallace spoon which I bought from Don Burford for $7. I first paddled it out at

            A.     Go surfing and knock back a sess with your missus?

            B.     Knock back a surf with ya mates and keep ya missus happy?

A.        Can’t answer that on account of the missus might kill me.

Q.        Describe your perfect surf trip

A.        Six months in NZ would be good. Lots of options, not too crowded and  it’s

            beautiful as well.

Q.        What music do you listen to when you want to motivate yourself for a surf?

A.        Rolling Stones

Q.        Is there a certain smell or sound that reminds you of the surf?

A.        Sea Urchins; they smell like the reef at Cactus

Q.        Have you ever snaked or dropped in on a stand up and said to yourself

“that felt good”? and who was it?

A.      Yeah, and he tried to spear my head with his board, so I grabbed it and pushed hard. He ended up pacing the beach, holding his thigh while waiting for me; but it sure felt good.
